I have the mini donut one and just used it today w/ my daughter. Got this and the heart shape waffle maker both on sale. I do wish they just let you switch out plates for diff shapes or something.

Have you used this one yet? Almost all the bad reviews said this takes a lot of time to cook just one pancake. How's your experience?

This is griddle so it should be flat and not that difficult to clean. But waiting to see if someone knows if it takes longer to cook a single pancake.

I have the waffle one, takes about 6 minutes to make so I'd guess about the same here. Makes ok waffles.

It takes about 1.5min for 3 mini donuts so I expect this to be about the same. This is not going to be something you want to make full breakfast for family of 4+ , but it's mostly a novelty I take out when my 8yr old ask if she could make breakfast and let her get creative with toppings. It got her into wanting to crack some eggs and make some omelets after making the mini donuts.

Crack a single egg into it and you can quickly waffle-fry an egg. It's a perfect bagel sandwich size, too!

I've had a couple of these for a while because they were discounted to 5$ and they're about 500W so two is well under a duplex outlet's limit. They're not good. Fine for a couple pancakes but it lacks any insulation- like most home appliances- so part of the heat escapes. It's a horrid mess if an ounce more batter gets used. Just goes everywhere. For what they can do, it's probably faster, easier and less cleaning to use a non-stick pan on the stove.

You can't compare the waffle one with this pancake one. The waffle one is hard to clean because of the lattice pattern in the plates. This pancake one has smooth plates. A quick wipe with a wet paper towel is all it takes to clean it. I have the mini-pie one and it's very easy to clean.

I do it for hotel stays I bring a whole hot pot and also hot plate and pots and pans . and a warming tray thing for cooking in the car . I bring these my minis so I can cook under the table at work and not be so obvious
