Note that the serving size on this is about half of what other brands list (7g vs ~20g). Take that into consideration on value. Other brands have a larger amount at a cheaper price on a pretty consistent basis. I can't speak to a difference in quality, though, so ymmv.

FYI - can't absorb collagen peptides through the GI tract, they're too big.

That actually seems wrong as the consensus claims that breaking collagen down into peptides allows them to become much more digestible and absorbable.

you're not looking at this correctly.
ALL macronutrients need to be broken down or you'll just poop it out. You don't have beef bits and Oreos circulating through your blood.
Collagen is ingested and similarly broken down. It doesn't magically transform back into collagen. You're body will decide what to do with the smaller building blocks. If it was that easy people wouldn't pay to get collagen filler injections.
