I don't understand how their "protein powder" makes sense for more money when the PB powder contains the same protein amount gram for gram. Are people just not seeing through the marketing?

The PB Protein Powder is more expensive per serving, contains approximately 50 calories more per serving than the average quality protein powder, and utilizes brown rice protein and peanuts as its protein sources. These two are far less bioavailable compared to the industry standard whey. So even though the product label says 20g of protein per serving, it might as well be under 10g of protein per serving.

No matter how I read that, it makes zero sense to me.

The PB2 "protein powder" cost more.
It does not contain more protein by weight than the regular powdered peanut butter version.
It is arguably less versatile in uses.
