Be careful with these. I had this exact same tool break on me while torquing down on a belt tensioner and I took a hard fall onto the floor. Not breaking loose but actually snapping in half.

Over 2000 reviews on HF with an average rating of 4.5. Looks like a good tool, will get one. Want to change the serpentine belts in two of our cars that crossed 150K miles as part of preventive maintenance.

Awesome! I'd rather risk this breaking over stacking wrenches box end to closed for leverage. I'll wear gloves. I've got an alternator to do this weekend.

I'll pocket the 80 bucks and take the risk. If it breaks this weekend, I'll take it back to HazardFraught.

Project Farm tested a bunch of Serp Belt kits a couple of months ago:

The Pittsburgh finished 4th from the worst, but did beat the ICON version.
It's really light duty, so watch before you buy...

Interesting that it performed better than the Icon. I have both the Pittsburgh set and a Husky set (which is no longer made, looks identical to the Gearwrench set). I haven't had a problem with either. As a note, most auto tensioners do have a hole where a pin can be inserted to lock it in place.

Yeah, think if you paid $80 for the ICON and got worse quality than a $15 kit.

Yes, also a free loaner tool at Advance Auto Parts. Used theirs this weekend while swapping out a water pump.
