can you explain, this is what i see 5% cash back - Gas Stations & EV Charging, Public Transit, and Utilities
if you are talking the general cash back, there are tons of sites which give you back the same amount

Utilities include phone service and MM is part of this.

went with Visible instead, they have $30 cash back. will pay $19 every month instead of paying this in bulk. This also has $10 cash back though.

A lot of consumer-friendly rules and initiatives were rescinded this year affecting: airline, travel, ticketing, banking, credit, subscription services by FTC, DOT and CPFB.

service is pretty lackluster especially when on congested T-Mobile tower. I found my phone unusable more so than with other providers but just my experience. I'm going with the Google Fi deal that's currently running,you get more features for similar price and better service.

US Mobile (USM) will renew at full price for the following years, but will be cheaper at 22.5 vs 30+fees. Not exactly trying to grab free money. It's for 911 emergency services among other things. It's a government tax that carriers are forced to pay. It's an extra tax in this case, or other carriers advertise that the taxes and fees are included in the base price.

Thanks for the rundown! From what I've read USMobile seems to be the better option. I may be wrong but it seems the main edge Mint had is the price point which is virtually the same under these promos. As I've had great coverage with T-Mobile, mint should work well but I'd be concerned with throttling after 35 gigs as I tend to use a considerable amount of data. I don't use a smartwatch so that doesn't apply to me. As far as renewal goes, I may give this a run for a year and see if other carriers are offering similar new customer promos next year.

I read the plan details again. the offer is only on the dark Star network, which I believe is att. if you switch from the network for over 36 days or something, you'll have to pay the discount amount. If it's any consolation, I'm using that one. I'm also wrong about 2G speeds. USM has it capped to 1mbps, not 350kbps. Maybe 2 or 3x as fast. I'm not sure what the data limit is for Starter. the terms say it might be 70gb, but it says it shouldn't have a limit. Could be up to att and out of USM hands if you get throttled, based on acceptable use terms.
