The B5 specs sure do appear to be a downgrade from the B4 at least in the 83". Which btw, is still going in and out of stock if you play the email restock game for $1620.

On the B4 series, they use the alpha8 processor, except for the 83" which uses the same alpha 9 processor as the C4. The B5 series uses the alpha 8 processor, even the 83".

Also looks like 120Hz for the B5 vs 144Hz for the B4.

The B5 however has Bluetooth 5.3, eArC HDMI3 and WiFi 6 as opposed to Bluetooth 5.1, eARC HDMI2, and WiFi 5 on the B4.

It may be regional so YMMV. It's been totally repeatable for me. I did have a couple restock emails that didn't check out but I just resigned up, staying vigilant was key.

agreed. the 83 B4 also has the superior processing of the C4, the A9 Gen 7 processor. This new version uses the basic B series processing (A8 Gen 2), no more free upgrade. 83 B4 > 83 B5.
