God damn I hate you. I was window shopping the other day and said if this becomes available, I am going to buy this because it's MSRP pricing...
Now I just have to justify (again), should I replace my 3090 TI? LOL

Hey, check your local Walmart for pny 5070 ti for 750. It didn't say they had it in my walmart app, but I went there today, and they had 4 of them, so I snatched one up. 750 plus tax. I dont know why it still isn't showing in stock online, but if my walmart has 4 of them, I'd imagine almost every walmart is getting a few in for that price.

Ah, the good old days when dropping $500 on a GPU meant you could run basically anything available… except Crysis.

I do think the 70Ti is the sweet spot at the moment. Unless you're primarily doing AI like I am, then the 32gb of the 90 is a must. Which is why I use runpod for my 5090.

This card is supposed to have loud fans and bad cooling design. People say it can be fixed by some undervolting and adjusting the fan curve. If you are not comfortable doing that and are bothered by noise (which really isn't as bad as the reddit police make it sound) it is not for you. Otherwise it is the cheapest 5070 TI you can get your hands on as far as I am aware and this is between 10-40 dollars of the usual going rate.
The pny version is $749

i'd just wait for walmart or bestbuy to restock the pny 5070ti oc at 750. higher boost clocks and somewhat better cooler (and reference board if you are going to watercool)

Uh wasn't the 4080 like a grand msrp?
yep.

i agree prices are inflated across the board, but if you need or want a card and don't want to break a grand. this is 4080 performance for less than the 4080 came out for.

I've had this card for several months and run into none of the issues you mentioned. It runs cool and the fans are not loud at all. I can max out settings on any game I throw at it, while the card runs cool with no issues. I would buy this card again in a heartbeat. If you look at the reviews on NewEgg, most reviews are very positive.
Same had this card for almost 3 months now, no cooling or sound issues. I do wish it had more vram, I'll sell it and trade up when 5080/5090 are more available without huge markups.

This is a pretty decent price for a 5070 Ti. However, I was able to snag myself a 9070 XT for $120 cheaper.
