works with the student discount too. making it $509.99 + Tax...OR if you do the "trade in any device" it knocks it down another $50 (changed from $100 off a few days ago) it brings it to $459.99 + Tax

so, $499.55 to me including tax.... otherwise $549.99 + tax for non student peeps

I'd get it for that price, but the curved screen is a NIGHTMARE for finding good screen protectors

I'm not sure even the student discount price is slick at this point in time.

yeah, they dropped the discount from 25% to 10% yesterday or the day before.. if it was still 25% off this would be KILLER, but as of now it's just a nice little addition to this sale...

I rather buy the 13R. Very similar specs for lower price and not have to deal with curve screen.

It seems like everybody is applying the student discount except me. Know any way this middle age man can be a "student" as well?

my alumni email address worked. my university gives full .edu addresses instead of alum addresses. That's how I've been able to do it.

trade off is the 12 has a much better camera, IP68 water protection, and the 12 has the dual chamber battery that charges a crap load faster than the single Li-ion in the 13r...

but yeah, that curved screen is a PAIN for screen protectors

I was fan of one plus when they started. Really liked them until 8T but then lost track how they have been doing. How have they been holding up? They started at $300 and now at $800 whereas you cAN GET SAMSUNG at that price if you jump around hoops like S24 ultra through walmart was $450. How is Oneplus doing?

same here. but network issues and camera issues made me change my mind. one thing I really miss from ones plus is the fast charge the charger itself.

Still great value. Just buy them 1 year after release. Price drops like crazy. Overall Chinese branded phones are the best value phones especially mid range category. The US gov has prevented many Chinese brands from competing. One plus is one of its last few left.

I've searched for this Walmart offer and can't seem to find it. I would appreciate if someone could share the post or link.

Thanks

Just found that the Arctic Dawn (white) + 16GB+512GB version OnePlus 13 is now 15%off ($999->$849), while "trade in any device" offer another $100 of (->$749) . If you have student discount (another 10%), with a new OnePlus account $30 coupon, the final price without tax would be $635. It's good for a phone with comparable configuration to S25Ultra (of course, Samsung has many other pros, just for reference). I finally ordered one at $685 with tax.
P.S. the 'Capital One Shoping' Chrome extension shows it has a 8% reward back, but it's weired that this cannot be found on its website. For safe I used 'Rakute*' 2%+$30(new account) instead. Hope it could be helpful to people interested.
