Good eye for details. Plus you can still get the full size FoodSaver from the Bullseyes Deal at eBay for $3 more (with the 20% off coupon). I got this back in April. The box was a little beat up (probably a return or open box), but it has worked just fine.

can anyone comment on the mason jar functionality of this type of device? That's all I would use it for, on wide mouth mason jars. I bought one of those cheap mason jar vacuum sealers on amazon and probably one of the most frustrating things I've ever bought online. Tried multiple brands and it fails 80% of the time to create a vacuum seal. This will surely be a step up from that, wouldn't it? I might just be jaded by those experiences

Foodsaver brand vs Anova? I have an Anova that has double seal elements but need to put pressure on the seal while sealing with heating element or else won't seal well (at least with Kirkland Signature bags)

Yeah, it's part of the meh.com company of sites. The founder of woot.com, after getting acquired by amazon, worked at amazon for about 2 years, quit, then essentially did a take-2, restarting a company with woot's original premise and business model that amazon has since adulterated.

There are some tweaks, like they do "IRKs" (instant regret kit) now instead of "BOCs" (bag of crap) or "fukubukuros", and "meh-rathons" instead of "woot-offs". They also celebrate their founding birthday, which happens basically on the same days as amazon's july amazon prime days (which was originally woot's birthday). And morningsave and sidedeal is like their QVC/HSN-leaning storefronts, while meh remains the deal-a-day/lightning deal location)

THis is a scam website.... i warn you all. they will charge your $6.35 one time shipping subscription fee even if you apply the coupon and cancel. dealing with customer service is horrible
