Edit: Fine print on the product description indicates that this is an "open box". So this explains why my box was a little beat up. But product itself appeared to be unused.

There are some tweaks, like they do "IRKs" (instant regret kit) now instead of "BOCs" (bag of crap) or "fukubukuros", and "meh-rathons" instead of "woot-offs". They also celebrate their founding birthday, which happens basically on the same days as amazon's july amazon prime days (which was originally woot's birthday). And morningsave and sidedeal is like their QVC/HSN-leaning storefronts, while meh remains the deal-a-day/lightning deal location)
