So hard to pull the trigger on this after the HP deals just recently for way more horsepower for lower price (esp if you got ram/nvme after).
I'm hoping lenovo brings out an option for the 5070ti in the 1600 range or 5080 in the 1800 range, id gladly go ips since i use external monitor 100% of the time at home and mostly hotel tvs on the road.

I paid $3000
For 5080 with 32gb ram and 2TB from lenovo and I think $867 in savings and that was shipped and taxes

That is not a decent price at all, esp for a used laptop.

The OLED screen on Legion Pro is GARBAGE! It's totally a mirror and not useable in lighter environment

Slightly cheaper with a couple coupons and id.me (miltary/student) discount directly through Lenovo.

Just bought a Pro 5i (same config) for a couple hundred less and the only difference, from all the research I did, is the RGB lighting and a slight difference in the cooling chamber, which leads to a slightly slimmer profile.

Do not buy a legion. Had 2 both motherboards burnt out before 2 years. Super common issue..
