I picked up a skytech a few months back and I'm beyond happy with it. All top name brand components (except psu which is a gamdias)

Desktop shipped with expanding foam on the inside (to support gpu) and on the outside. Not a single cosmetic issue. No bloatware on it either.

It has only increased by $50 from the previous pricing and is still $100 cheaper than the last FP deal. So, no, they didn't "kill the deal"; it's still a great set of specs for the price.

You can't compare most of these other pre-builts as one to one with SkyTech. SkyTech is a million times better than companies like CyberPower and big box ones.

If you add up the numbers on these items separately it will come out at about that price. I usually build my own but I'm very tempted. I need to upgrade my i7-9700K CPU, 2700 super, 16GB memory system and was going to wait till winter (Black Friday) but as others have mentioned the T-Tariffs make future prices a mystery.

Does Skytech still use their own proprietary fan and rgb connectors?? I had a skytech during covid it was like that. also always trash psu.

I just got the same machine except at 5060 TI (came in yesterday) from them for about $50 cheaper. Probably would have jumped on this if it was around then.

Edit: Mine was an Azure 3 but specs pretty identical.

How's the PC looking? Have you turn it on yet?

The computer I purchased from them in February (9800x3d w/ 5090) has all normal connectors and fans. Even the PSU was really decent, came with a MSI MAG 1250w psu. Mobo was not amazing (Gigabyte B650), but it got the job done. Well built and cables well routed.

Haven't even gotten it out of the box yet. UPS didn't deliver until 8:30 last night and I've been at work until a bit ago. Playing with my daughter now…hopefully can get it running while I'm "working" tomorrow. Adulting is hard, especially when you have a new toy!

I am in the market for a new gaming desktop though don't need to rush the purchase. With holiday deals around the corner is it worth it to wait and see what comes then?

If you're in no rush then I'd recommend putting together a list on pcpartpicker and slowly buying what you want as they go on sale. You'll end up with a much better mobo, ram and psu than this for around the same price.
