In my opinion, the head is too fat and short on this, so you can't plunge it into the ground very far. I prefer a skinny and long weeding tool. But Fiskars is great stuff.

This works great. It is a little fat on the end for perfect results. But still works.

Agree 100pc on both counts. I love Fiskars, but this Fiskars weeding tool doesn't plunge into turf well and is generally difficult to work with.
Sadly, I've pulled thousands of dandelions over the last decade+ and the best tool I've found is a "traditional dandelion weeder". I like Sneeboer tools but you can find these at places like Ace Hardware (Ace Steel Weed Cutter) for the cost of a coffee and it'll last you a very long time.

I find my hands work very well. Do tools like these really make it even easier to pull weeds?

I have this and it doesn't work on half my weeds. End up using my hands

Has worked for me for many years. The grip has worn down quite a bit from use.

I've pulled up thousands of weeds with this weeder. I'm not kidding. I love this thing. The angled arm gives needed leverage to pull weeds out.

Grab weed by its top growth.
Plunge weeder head at an angle an inch or so from weed root.
Push down on handle to pull up weed.

If you cannot feel the weed coming up when pushing down on handle reposition weeder head and push down until it starts to come up.

The black rubber did come off of my first weeder and I assume I can RMA it but I think I'm a bit attached to it so I think I'll keep it.

Just use a pair of sturdy chopsticks. They work for a multitude of things.

Depends on what you're pulling. I have a no name one off of Amazon that came with a garden tool set and it has been great for certain weeds with deep taproots.

Take your pick.... inflation or tariffs. There's always an excuse. 😄
