I was reading through all the Flip 6 reviews and apparently the warranty is worthless. If you have any screen or hinge issues Samsung will automatically blame you and you'll be SOL.

My wife had a Razer for about 18 months, and we thought we'd upgrade her. We got two Flip 6 (One for her, and one for my daughter) that both had the exact same issue - internal screen worked one day, next day it didn't.
Samsung told us to take them to U Break I Fix. The first one was no problem, so when the second phone acted up we went through the same process. It did not go well. U Break I Fix kept it for a day, then told us they couldn't fix it. Next we shipped it off to Samsung, where the repair department claimed we had broken something internally (on an immaculate phone with no scratches or dings). After about three calls, my wife finally worked her way to a "manager" and read them the riot act about three month old pristine phones failing. After a review of the evidence, the manager had them fix the phone and sent it back.
We stopped using the Flips. One was traded in, and the other is waiting for a good deal to trade in on.
Wow F scumsung. I had to trade in my like brand new s10e because of crappy battery life from day one but kept s10. Also like brand new. After 4+ years it developed a small black round spot on the screen. Looks like a cluster of black/dead pixels. Seems like a common issue with scumsung screens. Then i read scumsung won't accept tradeins with black spots. I don't plant to trade it. Won't touch another samsung phone again. Of all my phones s10 is the only one that developed a black spot.

how is this getting even 1 up vote?? I thought maybe the thread would have some trickery.. but nothing. the 'popular' deals on SD lately are either being pushed by SD for more commission, or the audience here has changed. either way, I'm getting less value from here than ever and...
Agreed. Looks like it was already down to 1038 with no trade in only a couple of months later from the Fold 6's release for the 1TB model with the EPP/EDU program. Also, cash back deals from any source this time around are extremely lacking.

I thought about this but I wasn't sure if that messes things up with the gift card. I really don't want to end up with *two* $300 gift cards...
