I have a loft bed from Amazon. Unless you secure it to the wall, the bed shakes and eventually cracks some of the wood. My pre teen daughter is having that experience now and she's less than 100 lbs. so plan on fastening to a wall to make it stable.

My experience with Walmart furniture has been less than stellar. I wouldn't risk my kids safety. Reviews question the quality of the wood, snapped beams... While I'm looking for exactly this, I'll have to skip it.
