Chock full of security vulnerabilities? That doesn't seem likely with 1000's of ppl having this unit. Where do you see it won't get any more firmware updates?

Ummm had mine for 3 years, just updated the firmware last week.

I would go further and recommend using these in gateway mode ONLY. Then with an old intel (x86) based computer run OPNsense.

Good units but not a good deal as the X55 version was this price before and as mentioned the higher end models were around $180 which are well worth the upgrade. I personally would not pay more than $100 for this model.

Also ignore red flyer hes a clown.... just not a very good one.
