Had one of these styles of UV lights for at least 6 months it does a good job getting rid of pesky gnats or fruit flies.

Got mine today for fungus gnats (lots of houseplants), and within 20 minutes of my main grow light turning off for the night, this thing had caught more gnats than a little glass of vinegar+soap I've had sitting in the same spot for like a week. Great results already.
The bottom tray is deep enough to just fill with a little soapy water which will kill them basically on contact and without any consumables.
