my mom got me one of these sets as a gift. I think I went through like 7 "metal" saw blades on half a screw? It was late at night so all the stores were closed, wanted my p4oject done and ran ou5 of sawzall blades 😢

VEVOR sells nothing but junk. Warning for all for the Vevor products you'll see in dozens of unrelated categories sold through major US e-retailers like Walmart, HomeDepot, Amazon, Lowes and others... garbage that neither the "manufacturer" (marketplace seller),nor the platforms will refund. Buyer beware. I wouldn't chance using Vevor blades on my multitool, product failure on one 50-cent blade could cause serious injury!

This should be fine to work on plasterboard, drywall or some trimming. I wouldn't do anything metal for sure.

Are they the same Vevor that sell inline fans? If so, those have been great for me.

I've had a different experience with them.

I just got in market for a welder and watched a video the other day where an old farmhand who's been welding for decades was absolutely lavishing praise on his little Vevor stick welder. So you seem to be sweeping with a very broad brush there.

I also have been happy with their products. Generally cheap stuff, but decent quality for what it is.

It really depends on what you are doing, if you are just installing plank flooring in a room that had carpet before and you just need to use a multi-tool for trimming then cheap blades will be fine (and you can sharpen them with a file fyi)

I never use multitool blades to cut screws or any metal in general. it is just not a good tool for the job and will eat through blades be they cheap or expensive. I consider my multitool a wood cutting tool that may occasionally hit a nail. Even with name brand balde in it I usefully regret not stopping when I may ho a nail or similar as it ruins the blade quick on even supposed metal cutting rated blades. Maybe they sell really high end blades that do work better for it but the cost becomes prohibitive. You would have been better with dremel wheel.

Whoa fellow, little dramatic their ain't we. You would have to try real damn hard to get any serious injury out of multitool.

I manage to break much more expensive blades do I give up on the as well for my safety? Amazon and Walmart will also not take black my Dewalt blades after I use or break them should I expect them to?

I have plenty of China brands that are near on par with the ones from china that Dewalt and Milwaukee slap their name on. It is new parket out there and you seem a little scared but you can find good value using some common sense. I have had vevor stuff and it is not as bad as you make out to be.

I have a set of these cheapo vevor blades, great as a back up since they never expire. I wouldn't use them if my lively hood depended on them, but for basic home improvement and hobbies they're not bad. Worse that could happen is the blade vibrates loose, or you cycle through the blades like a fat kid and ice cream.

A private seller name was on the box? This was not fulfilled by
Lowe's? A little fishy?

Not fishy at all as most retailers are now acting more like checkout services just like Amazon does. We live under a new retail system that does not work like the ones of old. It is why you can get stuff faster and cheaper.

Many or maybe most now what you consider retail purchases get shipped directly from the factory that makes it or some package handling business at a port or central shipping location close to you. That place will not be owned by the retailer. The stuff you buy now is most likely not be stocked in a store or facility they actually own and control. I just bought some Berkley bait from Walmart and it was shipped directly from Berkley. If I buy a flashlight from Walmart, Lowes, Amazon, Aliexpress or direct form the maker they all may be shipped from the same place and that place will not be them. If you look at the addresses you will find that most are close to port as the stuff is coming from overseas. If someone buys the item on the east coast they may get it from different place than someone on the west coast and that is where you can see the efficiency come in.

I never find it concerning and think it is working way better than the systems of old. it is not downside but a upside that saves money. People drop ship for the same reason you do not have to have hands on to sell something anymore. You have to purge your mind of how it used to work and the worry goes away.
