Regular wont be out for awhile. I had a reservation for it and they emailed asking me to upgrade to a CC. The ETA they said would be three or more months if I recall.

Are there any mods to make this quieter?
There are other options as well. Search "Centauri Muffler", "Centauri silencer" or "Centauri filter" on Makerworld or Printables. It could be some other options may be better, but the one I use definitely helps with the sound. The more people that get the printer, the more files are being created and added to these sites. When I printed mine, I believe the one I printed was the only option available.
For me, it's the parts situation and general maintainability that have me a bit worried. It definitely is a tremendous value as you said though.

I'm not using any "fast" filament and haven't run into any issues.
