Unfortunately the replacement hotends are, and have always been, on preorder, and the nozzles are not even sold. There are 3rd party offerings on Amazon, but they aren't cheap. Other printer parts aren't available anywhere, notably the original build plates.

You can use Bambu plates you just have to line it up with the front of the plate instead of the back. It's a hair smaller but I've had no issues doing this.

Anyone using enclosed 5M and also have CC to compare? 5M is so cheap these days at around $150. Nearly 2* 5M for 1* Cc

Is the Carbon really worth $100 more than the regular Centuari?

Regular wont be out for awhile. I had a reservation for it and they emailed asking me to upgrade to a CC. The ETA they said would be three or more months if I recall.

Been using this printer for a few weeks now. I'm new at 3d printing but it seems pretty solid from what I've been printing. I actually broke the hotend on accident and Elegoo sent me the entire assembly for free through warranty. All I had to do was send them a few pictures. A+ for service.

Enclosing it for another $100 is a big win, if you ask me. Protect against drafts, temp changes, dust. And ever decide to print ABS, ASA, PA, etc? You're already set. 🖤

I know that there is a huge difference between this and the Bambu Carbon but I am curious if anyone here used both and what do you think? I know there are YT videos on this but just curious.

If you like any degree of control, just know the firmware for this printer is quite limiting. Also, the fans are jet engines.

Are there any mods to make this quieter?

Yes there are. I printed and use this one: https://www.printables.com/model/...termuffler

There are other options as well. Search "Centauri Muffler", "Centauri silencer" or "Centauri filter" on Makerworld or Printables. It could be some other options may be better, but the one I use definitely helps with the sound. The more people that get the printer, the more files are being created and added to these sites. When I printed mine, I believe the one I printed was the only option available.

For anybody on the fence, it's really a tremendous value. Just make sure you're using "fast" filament or you'll have issues because it doesn't do flow calibration like Bambulab printers.
The Bambu P1S & P1P actually don't do that either, but the calibration for it is really easy in the slicer.
For me, it's the parts situation and general maintainability that have me a bit worried. It definitely is a tremendous value as you said though.

I'm not using any "fast" filament and haven't run into any issues.
