I ordered the carbon since I'm very impressed with my 5m and heard good things about the carbon.
Let's see how they compare.
oh, I also modded the 5m added lights and in circulating fan

As for ABS, it certainly can be printed on an open printer. I have a friend who is doing that with his Elegoo helmet sized bed slinger. He puts a large cardboard box over the whole thing. It's not ideal and he did have to put extra effort into his designs to avoid issues. However, most of his parts are large and didn't have fine details so this works for him.
I've been interested in this printer as a possible new printer. I doubt it will be faster or produce better PLA prints vs the 5M. However, if I finally move my printer into an area where I didn't have to worry about outgassing, it might do better with high temp materials.
If you already have the 5M then I don't think this is much of an upgrade unless you really need the bigger build area (but don't need a 300mm build plate) or you need the enclosure. The DIY enclosure really is pretty nice but at $50 in parts/material it puts you really close to the Elegoo price.
Weird artifacts/wavy lines on about half our prints. Also theres a sharp brim on every print. Tried to tweak elephant/line widths in elegoo and orca slicer to no avail
Loud as f, but about same print speed
Manual controls for certain things are weird
Filament sensor seems a little finnicky to me
Great printer but imo not really a replacement yet for P1's

FYI, I'm using the default filament profile as well without adjusting the temperature.
The only tip I would like to share out is: try to auto level prior starting any giant printing - you can also select Level on the touchscreen when starting the printing, that will ensure a better outcome.
Mine arrives today, so I am looking forward to trying it out! I'm coming from the original Ender 3 that served me well but required a lot of tinkering.
Dude I got this to be my second printer and figured I will keep my ender 3 clone going since it was still putting out good prints. After two weeks I packed up my other printer and it is sitting under my desk now collecting dust.
Thanks! Tried it but they sent me a 15% off coupon that excludes the Centuari lol

I'm having a hard time keeping it fed lol. I need to buy a lot of filament.
