Show was boring, predictable and the acting was poor. The lead actor who has made a living off being a macho pro leo patriot in the show had no problem spitting on LE in real life.
Tom may be short, but he's a great actor. Your requirements were apparently met with finding a shaved Sasquatch, no acting skill required, simply tall and 250lb.

Oh, I get it. You hate his politics, so you're crapping on the guy. Luckily, more people could care less about his politics, so they watched, and it's still going.
His only redeeming quality was him being an alpha macho man which he completely tossed away with his politics. Genuinely poor acting skills, very monotone.
You don't make a name for yourself as a steak restaurant only to then say steaks suck and vegans the way.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I didn't. Thankfully this is not Soviet Russia and folks are allowed to have a difference of opinion.
That being said, Alan Ritchson (normally) displays a similar acting range but at least he was believable as a tough guy and it isn't a carbon copy of his actual personality which is completely different.
