What's shovelware? Seems like a legit game with 5+ hours of main story play. 76 on metacritic and IGN gave it an 8. The MSRP might be a little inflated, but $1.99 seems like a good price point to pick this up.
It's a slick well designed game that focuses on what makes Soulslikes special--the boss battles.
Highly highly recommend.
