It's 5 screws to access the battery, and the wheels. The wheels are 2-3 screws if I remember correctly and are drop in parts.

There's one screw with a piece of white tape on it.
Get out of here man. Such a waste.
Rumor mills are accepted on truth social...that's about it.

I have had a roomba 560 for 13 years that still works perfectly after replacing drop-in parts from ebay or irobot over the years. The modularity of those bots is amazing. Would these Roborock last as long? From reports I see online and in videos, doesn't look like it.
Granted, irobot bots are vastly overpriced considering the features they have, I just like my stuff to last.

Roborocks use lidar and camera sensors to determine position and navigate around. They are fairly accurate and can determine if there is something in the way and go around it.
Mopping is not so great. I have it and use it, but it basically is the same as wiping down your floor with a damp rag. Its better than nothing but its not going to replace your Bissel mop. I have one too for when I really need to mop, which is less often with the roborock vacuuming daily and mopping weekly.

Has this improved in recent LIDAR models?
Tempting though, we have a Bessel upright mop. I wonder if these mopping robots could replace it.
Go to Wikipedia or Gemini even and get smart.
Lidar is literally one of the best technologies for close range 3d mapping. What do you think is better alternative; because NASA, the United States military, any reputable self driving company....might disagree with you
I am crying over here in laughter.

iRobot rules! China sucks! LIDAR is old!(Tesla lol)
I've had a Roomba S9+ for like 6 years, and it works great (when it works), but there is ALWAYS something going wrong with it and Roomba recently quit supporting it so we are no longer able to get some of the parts that frequently need replacing (wheel module).
Hopefully this new one does a good enough job for us, and the price is nice, being over $1000 less than I paid for the Roomba.
