One thing that has always bothered me about getting tires from Sam's Club or Costco is, you're basically locked in to paying for a membership every year for as long as you own the tires to get them rotated for "free". Whereas if you do it at a place like Wal Mart, you.re not. By the way I just checked and Google A.I. says no, Walmart does not offer free tire rotations if you purchased your tires from Sam's Club.

I tried to price match at Discount Tire but they close on Sunday. There is a special for Sam's club membership for $25 for the first year, so I signed up and ordered my tires at Sam's and made an appointment for replacement. Great deal!

My car is a 2013 Lexus and I noticed the tire pressure sensor is not working - battery ran out, probably. Do I have to buy new ones that work with Lexus? Or can Sam's replace the battery?

Update: Sam's club will replace all 4 TPMS and program it for $19.

What was I doing wrong? I signed up for basic membership, added Pirelli 225/50/17 4 tires to the cart and there was only $100 discount. But installation was $80 for 4 tires. How did you get free installation? I tried to choose different warehouses and nothing helped. I did try to get this promotion on eligible day of 27th July...Sacramento, CA.

P.S. Signed up only for this promotion as Sam's is too far from me. Seems I have to cancel membership now as I was unable to get free installation.

Not sure if Sam's website changes promotion PST or EST and that might be the reason the free installation is not showing otherwise there was nothing to do it automatically deducts that $80 and shows FREE when you place the order.

True but I would never advise getting a membership here only to get tires. I dont' know anyone that does that, we know we are going to be members every year and get tires as a result. I move a lot so I like knowing I can get my free rotations and balances anywhere in the country no matter which location I got the tires from, I assume this is also true at other national tire chains but it's really easy at Sam's.

There is one catch with the road-side service; you must have the tires rotated every 6,000 miles for it to stay active. I buy all my tires from Sam's club as they are normally much cheaper than other locations due to the free install and valve stems; coupled with the free road-side assistance . To me, its worth the yearly fee.

What do you mean by replace? TPMS sensors are usually $55 each, surely that isn't the price for new + install? That sounds like it's just the install, which means they take out your old TPMS sensors and transfer..which should be free (Discount Tire does it for free)
