Great deal if you can find it, but I really dislike the "reach height" advertising on these types of ladders. This is a 3' to 5' adjustable A-frame ladder or a 7' to 11' adjustable extension ladder.

Please let me buy my ladders based on how tall they are, not based on a 5' 6" persons potential reach. These ratings are just obviously meant to be highly deceiving or just marketed to people who are 5' 6".

My best guess is pricing is based on how long ago each store started making them down. I have one local store at $145, and another at $95. Starting the clearance at 34% off, eventually dropping to 56% off, and finally ending at OP's 78% off. If your store has it for $95, I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually gets marked at $48 if stock remains.
