Nice find. Pro-tier chip, good amount of RAM. If you want a MBP for less than 900 bucks, this is a great option, Woot's unknowable refurb quality and poor return policy notwithstanding.

last time i purchased refurbished macbook from woot, it was brand new sealed box. was able to call apple and add the manufacturer warranty. YMMV

Would love go get some input on this! I recently purchased a Lenovo p14s ThinkPad and love it. Great OLED display, 500 nits, fast etc. Cost me $1100. This MB Pro looks amazing. Specs wise, which is better? Display wise are they similar? Thx! I might return the p14s and get this instead.

I mean honestly the real gripe here is it being "old". Almost 5 years on market means that soon enough it'll get legacied and won't have OS support. No telling when that's coming or if Apple may change their behaviors on this with their own silicon.

And 512GB for this tier of machine is an odd choice.
