Took me awhile to figure out how to submit for the rebate card.
After you activate, you go to

https://promotions.t-mobile.com/, click start a new submission. Select your phone number for the T-Mobile Gateway and hit the optional Promo Code option, it is 250395. Fill out the information and then after ~10 weeks you get the gift card via text/email.

Affirmative. Hopefully they'll make the same mistake with a primary conductor soon and the problem will work itself out naturally.

I got this exact promotion for the rely plan and modem starting June 16. Works well except for having to reconnect my fire stick to the Wi-Fi literally every single time I turn my TV on. I've tried everything and it will not stay connected. Still have not received my $200 gift card however it has only been 6 weeks. The speed is good for my area. If you don't set up auto pay right when you order service they will not give you the auto-pay discount on your first bill, even if you sign up for it before the bill hits. Not especially crazy about their customer service but for $40 a month it's decent. Update: got my $200 rebate card for the rely plan after 8 weeks.

wondering whats the speed difference between the Rely and All-in plan is
Just set up Rely at my daughter's collect apartment and she was getting 500 down so doesn't look like there is any cap. Just depends on your sevice location.

My phone was actually a lot slower. Barely hit 100. Set the router in the window closest to the tower on the 2nd floor. Not sure if that made the distance or what.

Don't know if you've tried this already for your firestick constantly disconnecting but I bet if you get a separate router and connect everything to that and use the T-Mobile modem as just a modem and turn off the Wi-Fi aspect of it, it might alleviate your problem.

I use my own wifi router....turn off the SSID broadcast on the TMo modem...set the MTU to 1420 bytes. If you are using your personal VPN, then set the MTU to 1350 bytes.

The backup plan looks interesting. Thieves keep stealing our fiber optic cables thinking it's copper.

We live in a very rural area where we dealt with horrible internet for a couple of years. Considered Starlink but it was expensive. Since switching to T-Mobile we have had practically zero issues. We stream easily on 3 devices at a time. Takes quite a long time to download large files like an Xbox game and it is not fast enough for online gaming but for streaming on mult. devices it works perfectly.

I'm offered T-mobile fiber internet when I follow the link (I think it's through Metronet). Would it also qualify for this promotion ?

Does TMobile require the primary cellular account holder to live in the same house as the address on file?I'd like to get this for my parents that live in a different town. TIA

No thanks since you must also have an overpriced TMo phone plan.

Try burying it in a steel pipe.
