I tried one that actually hit 22mph and it seemed to be governed. Didn't take long to hit that speed but to be honest, it was a little scary especially going over the slightest bump. I never realized the amount of extra length and force you'll need in braking. I'll stick to my Segway thats governed at 18 mph.
Overall not a horrible deal on a cheapo means of transportation. Dont expect more that 5-6 miles of range. This as an M365 clone, I still have my original M365 and it was a great machine, but these clones are no where near the quality.
Amazon is offering an extra 2 year warranty for $45, I would recommend that as the battery will likely die within a year. Even with that added cost its a an ok-ish deal.
Thinking about trying it out also. I need two scooter for my wife and I when we go to Florida to explore.
Her HiBoy has been a great short distance commuter for work.
This seems like a decent deal, but as mentioned I would look into the extra warranty with these no-name Chinese scooters/ebikes.

My kid is around 40lbs and we often go on day trips on our local bike path with her on the front. She stands on the front of the deck and wraps both hands around the handlebar stem. I put some foam padding around the stem to stop the occasional head bonk from a quick stop.
There is no suspension and the wheels are solid so you have to be careful for larger bumps, and no steering dampener so riding with one hand is not an option, but for the price point who cares. It does have a basic app (Vicont) with Bluetooth ability and 3 riding modes you can adjust on the scooter itself.
It also folds up small enough to fit in my hatchback car, and still have enough room for 2 kids balance bikes and other stuff. I'll probably buy another if this one ever breaks down.
