What kind of offbrand monitor is this. We get that SD wants affliate link money but this kind of shilling ain't it.

KTC has supplied panels to Samsung, cooler master and viewsonic. They started their own brand in the COVID era, and have really well reviewed monitors. I wouldn't consider this a shill post at all.

I've got their 4K 160Hz mini-LED monitor. It's an amazing monitor, but they did have to replace it. Been fine since then.

Edge lit. Blacks are going to glow like a lightbulb. One could at least get a mini-led at this price

can you recommend a 4k, 27 inch, mini-led with fast refresh at $300? I own the Cooler Master Tempest GP27U but that was $400.

I got an Acer 275k p3 on eBay refurbished for $300 a year ago. I wouldn't worry too much about 4k on a 27"
This would probably be your best bet. More dimming zones
