I own the Loop Quiet2, Loop Engage2, Loop Dream, and Loop Switch2.

For this deal, the Quiet series is enough for most loud areas where you need ear protection and the Engage is a great way to protect your ears and maintain awareness in loud environments.

Occlusion / Underwater feeling occurs in all earplugs. However the louder the environment the less this will be noticeable.

The Switch2 and the Dream are my favorite. However in this case the Engage is quite effective for loud areas where you still need to have some awareness and want to protect your ears. Earphones with ANC does fall short in longterm use which is why I use the Loops.

Some of my work is in a datacenter and have to spend hours in there at a time. For this I couldn't use my AirPod Pro 2 or AirPod 4 ANC. The whining of the servers does affect the ANC and it has trouble keeping ANC on it gets nauseating. For this purpose I use my Switch2 if I am working with a colleague. The sound is mostly muffled out but I can carry a conversation. It's hard to have a conversation there anyway.

The Quiet2 is my second choice for this work.

The Engage if worn at a loud coffee shop or bar, is a bit more muffled than the Switch2 at middle settings. The Switch2 is most versatile in this setting.

The Dream (not listed in this deal) is very very good for sleep. I live near some open roads where lots of burnouts and donuts happen and this helps with my sleep.

So would you say the Quiet is preferred over Quiet2 for use at a metal concert or about the same?

Comment above is super helpful. I use the engage so I can hear my young children but not be super annoyed by the 9 month old screeching.

The quiet was too quiet for me, strong underwater feeling, the loudest thing was my own chewing.

I bought these last time to use while riding my motorcycle. They dramatically reduced the wind buffing and motor sounds but still let enough in to hear around you. Highly recommended, and considering the amount of money you need to spend on a helmet to get a fraction of the sound dampening these give you it's a hell of a deal. Thats not even factoring in how much you'll save from hearing aids later on.

I jumped on the Engage Pluses and Quiets in violet for my wife.

On prime day I got the quiet 2's and have been using them for sleep. They are fantastic! I snore so I let my wife try them and now she won't give them back. I'm going to give her the violets now as her own sleep buddies. I got the engages for concerts. I know the experiences are more for concerts but I am hoping these will be about the same.

I have the Loop Quiet1, Quiet2, and Switch not sure if 1 or 2. Of these, I like Quiet2 the best as I find they are the most comfortable for sleeping. I had not heard of the Dream! I will be looking into those, as you say they are good for loud roads, and I live on the busiest street in town!

So do the quiet 2's completely block the snoring or just muffle it? I need something to help with the Mrs. Snoring before I start reaching for the pillow.....

She said it was significantly muffled. To the point where it didn't bother her or wake her. She's a very light sleeper.

So which one of these is good for decreasing the overall loudness at a concert as well as speak to someone next to you while being able to hear each other?

So if you wanted to block the sound of lawn equipment. Riding mowers and weed eaters would on recommend the quiet 1 or quit 2
