Bought this full price for my daughter a couple years back, has held up very well despite being consistently left in the rain as kids do. She graduated to a 16" this year and completely skipped the training wheels at 4 years old. Balance bikes seriously work, they're not a meme.

FYI these things (including this exact brand) are on fb marketplace all the time if you don't mind used, which I would recommend balance bikes since they outgrow them pretty quickly

I've been down the rabbit hole of balance bikes, this thing can't possibly be much worse than the $200+ high end ones right
When the kids get confident and start wanting to ride on hills you will quickly wish they had a brake which the more expensive balance bikes have. They also tend to have real rubber air tires. This one has foam tires which start to show their age after a year of use.
