The worst app redesign...ever?

What was your objective in this redesign? To make everything harder to read and scan? To make the app feel a lot like eBay?

Everything about this is wrong. Price color and size is wrong, differentiation between title and supplementing text is wrong, thumbnail image size is wrong. You created a meaningless and confusing wall of text.

Typical "If it's not broke, then really screw it up."
What happened to the posting date and time being visible?
The alerts only give you a partial listing of previous posts. This is a useless "downgrade"!!!

Yeah, it's pretty terrible..no where near as easy to rapidly scan deals for interest.. which leads me to just spend LESS time NOT MORE (must be the objective) on the app or site. That said, i don't think this was really an SD specific app transition as many other sites AND apps have exactly the same new UX/UI and impairment with flow, scrolling speed, efficiency.. so either ONE company sold them ALL on "great upgrades for your customers, increase stickiness, and engagement (not)) or whatever core platform is being used pushed this option/requirement as the app update required.. does anyone know what this form factor/format layout and UX is called?

I'm not a hardcore user by any means but I used to spend a ton of time scrolling, just seeing what was out there. Something in the redesign is just off though. I would need a side by side to see what this difference is but it's definitely harder to know what you're looking at. Im sure there are internal metrics so the developers probably know a lot better then us but I've cut way back on my scrolling and it sounds like a lot of others as well.
