Why? These have been on multiple times and you're the first person I've seen comment something that bad.

I wish they came with more than 13ft of line set though, I need to install one on my 2nd floor.

People told me the same thing about my Mr.Cool unit. It's 4 years old now and hasn't skipped a beat.

You can wall-mount the outdoor unit 8 or 12 feet above the ground with no problems. (Other than an inconvenient location for the hookup work.)

Ok, but why. All the brands are built to break now. Might as well get whatever is cheapish and plan on replacing. Can't expect anything to last more than 10 years now vs 70-80s stuff some of which are still running their energy hog lives, but you can buy a lot of kw's vs spending $10k on a new system that might not outlast it.

$7 or 1-2% off from advertised price, why you pinching pennies 😅 If anything it could be sales tax where you are :p

This exact unit was less than $400 a few months ago. I have this exact unit, it's great. Works well. But only been using for a month. It's a rebadged Aux unit

If anyone has experience on this unit's wall vibration when mounted that would be useful. If it is a bedroom wall vs a garage it is different amounts of risk.
Mounting on the wall will transfer some amount of vibration in. Rubber feet help marginally, many compress with the weight over time and become close to solid.
