They've been making pegasus for many years. Maybe this is similar to their 2005 version? I think I had some shoes that looked like these at some point.

Not sure about these but they kind of look like the nike vomero 5. You can get the vomero 5 in orange for this same price at nike outlet stores and I highly recommend the vomeros.

Not really been in the business since Pegasus was ver 3 all those you mentioned are lighter weight shorter distance shoes but for the avid runner and marathoner Pegasus are best cushion alongside Vomero and their support shoe is the structure. By the way I'm not a NIKE fan boy.

It's the 2005 version. The Pegasus goes far back as 1989 and before. That was the first year I had a pair in college for track. One thing I'm unsure of is whether these retro Nike's are exact replica or just cosmetic versions of the vintages. The cushioning back in 2005 was I believe Cushlon which Nike stopped using not long ago.

I had the pegasus as my first running shoe in high school. It looked EXTREMELY similar to these. I personally thought they looked really ugly then, and really ugly now.

Pegasus line first came out in 1985. I think the current design type started roughly mid 2010s

Its interesting that Nike doesn't advertise these as running shoes, and just "Men's Shoes"
