Use it you want orange spots on your carpet. It turned my carpet orange where I sprayed it.

I've used it on very light beige carpet with no discoloration. It worked when nature's miracle didn't for cat and dog pee. Nature's miracle just made it smell even worse.

Oddly just learned something new a few weeks ago. A car detailer and carpet cleaning company talked about how they handle per stains.Peroxide for stains... then descent with enzymes or other treatments for smell. Test first to make sure this doesn't damaged carpet or upholstery. Carpet generally can handle both depending on percentage strength.

Not sure what kind of carpet you have, but it's a miracle for apartment grade carpet. I have a disabled cat that has accidents and vomit all the time, and this has kept our carpet looking clean and new, with no staining to speak of.
