you know for a cheap workbench it's not a horrible deal it's actually quite good. I'd be a little bit worried about the power outlet but if after inspecting it it's fine then so be it.
What's wrong with rubber wood for this sort of product? It's hard enough, just doesn't have pretty grain? You need a pretty hickory table for your workstation?
Rubberwood usually comes from rubber trees in Asia after they have reached an age where their latex/rubber production goes down. It is a medium harness wood and is very cheap, mostly because the grain isn't as pretty as other medium to high harness woods like hickory, oak, maple, etc
Same quality at Temu for about $70-$80 shipped locally with cashback. There's nothing special about Amazon anymore when it comes to these type of items, they are made from the same places, just sold for more.
