Don't use obfuscated marketing terms. It is TLC NAND. YMTC is a term to hide the NAND type it is, which is TLC. It does have SLC cache though, but DRAM-less. This is a somewhat decent-ish price for a high TBW endurance drive (for TLC, but still TLC, at least it isn't hyper-shitty QLC though) from a name-brand instead of some nonsense AI named rebrand drive which is 90% of what is on amazon these days.

YMTC is the NAND manufacturer. I agree with the guy you replied to. Do you trust endurance claims made by YMTC?

Costco warranty means you can return it forever.

So if you ever write 3200TB of data and the drive barfs you can get your money back.

All drives will die eventually.

Now that I think about it, I wish I had kept some of my dead Seagate 8TBs, because I could have returned them. Been so long that I forgot I bought them from Costco, dang it.
