A bit overpriced for what is basically a mid-grade 50 piece set with 247 little bits thrown in to fill it out. BTW, all 12pt. sockets. Lots of better sets out there with more useful tool assortments, unless you don't already have 10,000 Allen wrenches and 1/4" bits.

How does this compare to the husky 290 set?

This is a fine first set for anyone looking to get into wrenching. It covers most of the necessary SAE and metric sockets needed.

I wish they would make these with wheels and a handle like a carry on luggage.

Case is cheap plastic. And even though the tools have a lifetime warranty the case does not. Learned this the hard way

Look at the selection of the 1/2 sockets. I can't even torque my wheels using 19mm 1/2 using 6 point. It comes with 12 point and regular size so likely will need a short extension unless you have a flex head torque wrench.

Plus it's @ $99 so often that this is basically normal price, not a sale

Care to point out a set like this that also has a lifetime warranty?

You can add something like a small hand truck to any set.

Here's an example:

Not a bad tool set but be warned the case sucks. Sometimes I used to open a drawer and it would either get stuck or all of the sockets would fall out. Good deal if you want to add various sized sockets to your tool set.

Got this years ago. Tools are fine, nice first set. But the plastic case sucks. Drawers bow and feel like several to of the sockets catch. Just annoying.
