I would also suggest getting the IMEI before purchasing (if you can), especially if you have Verizon. I bought the Ultra Galaxy Watch (2025) and it wasn't in their database and therefore they weren't able to activate it on their network. I ended up returning it as there was no way to get it on the Verizon network - even though Verizon sells the exact same watch.
After the disappointment of the 8 series design wise I hope this and the 7 series will soon see more aggressive reductions and trade in deals as well.
The Standard series 8 is good but every higher end tier gets worse.
The Classic is a little heavy and the bezel is a little too big.
The ultra is a joke. Whatever difference there is between the 2024 Ultra and 2025 ultra you'll never even notice.

I dont mind the regular series; the Watch 7 (and 8) are the same specs as the Ultra. Same processor, same RAM, same display on the 44mm (size, brightness, etc.), same everything.
The battery size is a big deal though; 590 vs 425/35 (7/8) is a lot. 30% bigger capacity is quite a jump. Obviously they did it intentionally since the circular Watch 5 Pro had a 590mah battery, so its possible. And it was 10.5mm thick vs 9.7mm for the watch 7; so they could physically fit it.

Even Samsung admits that the "new" ultra is just refresh that is not worthy of the "Ultra 2" name!!
Now, every ultra deal will be so confusing without adding the model year!!
