I am going to a semirural area this week and they have an ljs. You know I am going to use this deal! I did the last one!

The ones for the best meat coverage are the Super Sampler Platter and the Salmon and Shrimp platter (the cheapest and probably healthiest). They had a platter which had crab patties, but I do not see it. The super sampler has popcorn shrimp along with regular fried shrimp and same cost as the other two.

So I probably will do this deal with the platters mentioned above.

Fyi: if you go four two salmon platters, you just elevated your status to fine dining. Salmon is a steal for two for $14!

The one in my city, where it was founded, went bankrupt. Weirdly enough, people love them in rural areas.

I don't think I have seen one in several decades, and that was back when I lived in the upper Midwest.

Now that I live in California, there are only 14 in the whole state, most in rural areas with some exceptions, and most combined with KFC.

One just opened near me a week ago and the line has been insane...30-40 minute wait to get food.

Still in all the rural areas I travel through. A buddy who was co manager at a LJS said the city locations has such an issue with dirty customers, workers who do not care, theft etc, they are just failing/failed. Just like a lot of other things in cities. Crazy when you know the problem but no one has the nards to speak up about it due to political correctness......

I have driven by that one, I'd it's the Brannon one, it's line around the store and out the drive all the time

Well, we all know where you live now. Lol.
Weird how they are still opening up locations in KY though.

Nah, could be on the border lol. Seems like most of them are in the midwest/south though.

Just placed an order and I am at one. Deserted! So sad.

Edit: I asked them for tartar sauce and they forgot it. Dammit!

Same issue here in the suburbs - the customers came from surrounding areas, were dirty, and didn't fit the demographics of the city we were in (middle class diverse community vs working class customers who could barely speak the solitary language they "knew" how to speak).

In all honesty, no different from pirates really. Whenever I go to Long John Silver's, I am hoping to meet a guy with missing teeth and an eye patch to complete the theme, Johnny Depp was just the cleaned up version in Pirates.
