If certified renewed = used, I'd be wary of mold on something that was meant to hold water

Unless they forgot to list it, this does not include the cover that comes with other new versions. Some also come with car charger, while this does include the mister that costco version does not. QVC version includes all.

It is a solid fan and fairly quiet.

I bought the misting unit but have not used it yet but honestly it's so small and just a pass through item I doubt it has mold or even a significant amount. Plus it would be being used outside when it is very hot so would dry almost immediately anyway. I have dealt with a lot of mold in my time, that could never harm you.

meh SideDeal & MorningSave are all affiliated, and are all new sites for some of the original Woot team.
It's legit in that you'll get what they list. YMMV on the quality/condition, there seems to be a lot of no name junk
Those sites also give big cashback/affiliate kickbacks so you'll find them promoted a lot $$$

Only if you attach a gas line instead of water.

I'm fully supportive of paying a higher dollar for value, I am not a cheapskate by any means. However I'm confused how this can be worth $80 much less Msrp?

I'm buying this for my second room (I haven't had Shark fans before though). I have Dreo that I paid $120 without the ability to take out the fan into short, battery powered fan.
It takes some engineering work to get a fan to blow a lot of air while producing low noise. Design of blade, curvature, # of blades, bearing, vibration dampening, etc takes effort and I definitely appreciate how low noise my Dreo has. I can run it low overnight and don't hear anything.
Also tall fans are more expensive.
This one is like 2-in-1 and looks like I can even take the short fan and bring it to camping. Put it back on to charge up and use it as normal tall fan.
There are cheap $40 tall fans, but I think it's worth double that for a quality (hopefully) multi-mode fan with a battery (don't really care about misting though..)
