It is a solid fan and fairly quiet.

It's legit in that you'll get what they list. YMMV on the quality/condition, there seems to be a lot of no name junk
Those sites also give big cashback/affiliate kickbacks so you'll find them promoted a lot $$$

It takes some engineering work to get a fan to blow a lot of air while producing low noise. Design of blade, curvature, # of blades, bearing, vibration dampening, etc takes effort and I definitely appreciate how low noise my Dreo has. I can run it low overnight and don't hear anything.
Also tall fans are more expensive.
This one is like 2-in-1 and looks like I can even take the short fan and bring it to camping. Put it back on to charge up and use it as normal tall fan.
There are cheap $40 tall fans, but I think it's worth double that for a quality (hopefully) multi-mode fan with a battery (don't really care about misting though..)
