Large battery capacity 15000mAh (3.2V/48Wh) charge your phone up to 3 times, making it perfect for extended use on the go. Rated capacity 8000mAh (5V/3A). (When the voltage changes from 3.2V to 5V, the battery capacity loss is 20%)

This conversion is also true of lithium ion at 3.7v. All power banks that run on lithium ion advertise their capacity at 3.7v.

That's because most people don't understand mah ratings. They see a mah number on their power meter and it doesn't match what is listed on the battery device they are testing and they claim fraud. For capacity of a battery you need to know both MAH and VOLTAGE.
The power bank probably is as they cliam a 15000 mah battery.

I like it. Would pick one up if I didn't already have an old model like this with microUSB which still works. Hate microusb, but I'll wait until it dies or until it gets lost.

they are the first company that makes USB power banks that has that distinction, so it's very nice to see
Well that is probably because this unit is only using "1" giant cell at 3.2v from the teardown I've seen. Many other lithium ion power banks use more than one 3.7v battery in series so they can step down the voltage instead of boosting the voltage.

3.7v is speed not capacity. capacity is 15k

In case someone here is visiting China, start from 06/28/2025, power banks not CCC certified are not allowed to be carried on a domestic flight in China. Seems like this one doesn't have CCC (according to Amazon product video showing on -29s), but it has FCC and CE, should be good enough otherwise.
It's UL and CCC... See attached photo

Repped! Super helpful. I was looking for this too since I will be traveling there in a few months and wanted to grab a power bank that met the certification just in case. Was going to go for a Xiaomi bank from Ali but this would be cheaper + lp4.

You probably have problem viwing the image in your app. Here is a screenshot from one of customer review videos showing the certifications in the charging cable slot.
Edit: I have problem uploading screenshots from my computer. Sorry about it. That said, I saw the CCC certificate in at least two customer review videos.

I found out I do have the problem to view the image in Chrome 😅
I can see it in Edge.
Thanks!

It's for when you're traveling and know you won't have a wall outlet to charge your phone. This one also has 22.5W PD (power delivery) which means you can also charge a modern USB C laptop with it. Though if you're using your laptop while charging it with this, the battery might still drain, albeit a bit slower, since laptops can use more power under heavy load than what this can charge it with. If you have a macbook air or something super low power, this will probably be fine though. ex: I don't use my battery bank unless I'm flying somewhere and don't want to deal with finding a seat that's also next to an outlet. With a battery bank, you can just plop down wherever you want and still charge your phone.
Worth noting that this probably wouldn't charge most higher wattage laptops at anything above base USB charge rate (5-12W), since it doesn't have 20V (up to 12V only) unlike most 30w+ chargers/batteries.

These are also fairly heavy by comparison to regular Li-on battery banks; these weigh 1.1 lbs vs the ~0.75lbs of regular Li-on due to lower energy density. Still, very excited to see LFP hit the mobile market.

not this format, the palm size but bigger/higher capacity jackery explorer 100--which is more like 80$ on a deal, so not this ballpark... 100w PD / just 100WH capacity so it can still fly. has an mppt for solar.

LFP? this is something nice to see now. hopefully a lot of companies will follow.
3000 charge cycles. Should last most of us 15 years. That's quite a while.

If you're familiar with Chinese apps, you might want to place an order in advance and have the purchase shipped to where you stay before you arrive. Qi2 items are not allowed to sell in China, if that's what you want, you need to buy outside China.
