FYI, for those comparing this is a great price for 512GB! I picked them up on BF for a little more.

I haven't used compact flash since my pentium 3 laptop! I didn't know they were still around.

What does that have to do with this deal? This is not a CompactFlash card.

I had a brain fart earlier.. I was thrown off by the photo reminding me of a PCMCIA card.

Was almost about to not buy this because my camera only uses XQD, but saw after a firmware update, I can use CFExpress (camera is a Nikon D850). Thanks!! Might be worth checking your camera for compatibility.

It is a compactflash card. The difference is it the express is a faster, better, and newer version of the legacy version.

They been around. Never left. Professional used them and the technology have been improving over the decades.

CF was overshadowed by SD in the consumer market due to it smaller form factor.

You are seeing them in the consumer market again because consumer cameras needs faster write and read speed that SD can't provide.

You are wrong. That is like saying NVME is "faster, better" SATA. This is NOT a CompactFlash card.
