For anyone who doesn't know already, Amazon mixes inventory of all of their sellers, which is why counterfeits are so rampant. Items Samsung is sending direct for resale get tossed in the same bin as the "same" items sent by BestHappyPanda LLC. Apparently it's cheaper to issues refunds to the people who notice it than it is to properly track.

These EVO drives slow down to under 10mb/s once you start filling them up. Don't remember the exact cutoff point, but they're basically 1 time use, meant for storage/read-only.
I think I remember formatting the drive too, and it never recovered. 80mb/s reads, 10mb/s writes.

Is this your experience or something documented you can post a link to data about?

I've been burned twice by Amazon sending counterfeit Samsung SD. And lately, Amazon has been sending a lot of falsely reviewed garbage resulting in several returns. As a result, my purchases with them is less than 10% of what it was this time last year.

I've used several of these cards and never had this problem. This and the silicone power brand have been my go to cards.
