Not seeing anything about warranty there though.

I've had good luck with All State warranty on ebay purchases. Had to use them 2 times and both times they approved a replacement device for me after sending them documentation requested.

"Chromebook" in the title or GTFO

I bought one last time. Mine was basically new, but someone else I know got a really dirty one, so it's a lottery.

The chassis is cheap and plasticy. The touch on the touchscreen is bad. Everything else is pretty good.

Of course, nobody is buying it for the hardware... if you know you know.

Besides the chunkier plastic build, this is truly the only feature that keeps the Acer CB514 from being more completely universal as far as current model Chromebooks go... and I'm typing on one right now. My Samsung Galaxy Chromebook (generation 1) is way more premium but it had better given I paid nearly triple the price. But truly I only notice in those applications where I'd grab the Galaxy model specifically for either the backlit keyboard or the premium video quality experience. Otherwise the CB514 is a champ for skimming Slickdeals and other daily Chromebook tasks.
