I have this paired with my phone so I can text and browse without picking it up, as well as my computers. Nice to be able to do while working.

Only a buck or so of Aliexpress and gets you all 3 tips and a cord. Keep the tips in the devices and just drag over the magnetic cable as needed. I have added the tips to nearly every random device in my house that doesn't need fast charging. Now one magnetic USB cable at my desk can charge or power whatever trinkets and geegaws happen to need a USB cord.

I originally thought the same, when I bought the MX Master 2S for work. But frankly I charge it so infrequently, it's really a minor drawback if the battery is this model lasts similarly as long.
