Youtube TV price increase ($73 to $83) deferred by 6 months

I am not sure if this is YMMV, but here goes:
Earlier this year, YouTube TV was set to increase its price by $10 from $73 to $83 for the base package. In February, I found a link that described how to defer this by 6 months by attempting to cancel. This would bring up a dialog suggesting holding off for 6 months in return for a $10/month discount, effectively keeping the rate the same.
They just sent me a notification that the price should go up in August, BUT when I logged into my account, I found a direct link that will extend the $10-off offer by another 6 months: This link can be found when you sign into the YouTube TV account, and select "Manage" next to the base package.
I hope this works for many slickdealers and their friends.
