Just curious, have you never had pork? Pork is the main ingredient and its naturally high in saturated fat. So unless you are buying the chicken version of SPAM yes the standard will have high saturated fat because that is naturally in the pork.

Coconut oil is also high in saturated fat. It is often touted as a healthy alternative to other vegetable oil. And it is. You are following decades old proven wrong science.

No it's not . Pork loin is lean . Some cuts are high like pork belly. Some are average like ham .

This. Alton Brown said pork tenderloin is his favorite cut of meat.

Very lean.

Pork shoulder and butt are great for carnitas and pulled pork though, just need to drain the fat.

The same can be said about any meat if you cut around the average meat, but the average meat is high in saturated meat.... Sure you dont want to believe me than believe the USDA.

"Yes, pork contains a significant amount of saturated fat.
According to the USDA National Nutrient Database, a 3-ounce serving of lean pork chop contains:
8 grams of total fat and 4 grams of saturated fat.
"

Or do you want to lie to yourself and say that spam only uses pork tenderloin, than go ahead lol.
