if you live near an indian grocer as i do in nyc, such ~9oz meal packs are $2-$3 every day.
tasty bite brand tend to be bland, compared to the common brands india pakistan buys.
there is usually a 1-2-3 pepper graphic systems, and everything tasty bits has is 1 pepper.
if you shop locally for similar, i would only get 2 pepper meal packs since you will be diluting
the contents with other veg, starch, protein, you don't want your meal pack to start off bland.

I don't mean to expose your location but where in NYC? I'm a lifelong NYer and I have no idea where the Indian grocers are. I've never seen any in Soho, where I live, or the surrounding neighborhoods. I don't remember seeing any in Little India either. I do, however, go to many grocery stores owned by Indian-Americans but they just sell normal grocery stuff.

As an aside, bland is perfect for me! I can't tolerate Korean food because everything is spicy (or too sweet). I love the texture of their noodles but I always end up throwing away the flavoring pack. Even the mild is spicy. A ramen review site also said that one of their mild noodles tasted like Tabasco sauce. That's not mild but I guess if you were raised on kimchi since infancy, it'll be mild to you. But I'm so bland, I ask my Chinese eatery to leave out the ginger and scallions. Not a fan of fresh garlic either.

just google maps "indian grocery" there are two E28th on Lex and 3rd.
i prefer the few north of the Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av Subway station
where the prices are far less than stores having to pay manhattan rents.
i would at least try a medium, and dilute it with cooked starch and veg.
there are a bunch more in south richmond hill near jamaica rail yards
but it's a rough area so i'd advise you only go during daylight hours.

Thanks. Being a lifelong Manhattan boy, I have never even heard of those Queens locations. Sounds like it's going to be a fun adventure! And I'll be sure to look tough!
