These aren't great. The band you put your finger through is stiff and uncomfortable, but the biggest problem is the metal pin that it slides over breaks after a few weeks. I've had two of them and won't buy them again.
The same experience I had. I bought twice, both from deals posted here and both times the pin broke within a month or 2. Fortunately for me it was the one without find my and was only $6, IIRC. Will never buy again

Have had one a while now, the battery doesn't last nearly as long as they claim. Not even by half. Expect to charge weekly to avoid the low battery alert in FindMy. The loop is easily misshapen and doesn't go back to form. Maybe worth it at this discount but otherwise no.
I like these enough to buy them 2x a year (non find my version for under $10) because as other posters said the band comes loose but i love it otherwise.

This is an issue. I bought two ESR wallets both came apart within months. Whereas I still have wallets from literally 30 years ago that are intact. Why do we support brands that sell poorly crafted products and sell them for premium prices?
The wallet below has lasted me over a year. No issues with the seams. I anticipate it lasting for much longer. https://a.co/d/08Vc4Bf
ESR makes some great iPad cases (and iPhone cases). However their wallets are not well made.
Crazy, I've had one for over a year and it's only alerted me to charge it once so battery life has been great. No problems with the pin either but…the piece that slides to make a loop for your finger is a bit brittle and now it has chipped pieces and slides off the pin.
Also had one that one of the magnets that hold the charger to it came off and now it won't charger unless I'm holding it on.
Have enjoyed it, especially the FindMy integration, but the little quirks are annoying.
If you have this... I've found that charging it takes some work. You attach the thing until its fully charged, take it off the charger, and then do it again after a few minutes. I don't know why some batteries do this but I assume they get too hot and just start saying theyre fully charged? I have to do this quite a bit for shitty batteries like my doorbell camera and old rechargable AA's.
Anyone recommend a similar product that has better build quality? Didn't realize I needed this, but want a nicer one. Thanks for the recs.
I ended up buying this wallet. https://a.co/d/a2quvNH It attaches firmly as long as you have a good magsafe case. (Many don't have good magnetic bond). I bought it in June of last year. It still looks brand new. Unfortunately it was more expensive than I thought that it should be....but it lasts.

To their credit, ESR sent me a replacement without question when my first gen version strap came off because of the smaller metal pin.
I feel like I'm gonna be the odd one out of this one but... I have the black version of this ESR wallet for about a year; Best minimalist wallet I've ever had end of story. Charged it about once every 4 months even though the battery wasn't really that low, the tension is great for using as a stand and stays tight after all this time, and the strap is useful, but not the most comfortable. I'm not the kind of person hat really uses a strap though, but the wallet itself adds enough grip with the super strong magnet and sits inside your hand pretty naturally with it's shape and weight. Pockets will fit three cards easily, and you can fold a US Bill in half and fit in inside for an emergency cash kinda thing. I freaking love this wallet since its so small, but so much functionality. I use the find my function so often to ring the wallet and find it. Haven't noticed any wear and tear yet, and have convinced at least one of my coworkers to get the same wallet after he tried mine.
YMMY but that's my review on it.
